Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., 512 2nd Street, Suite 200, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you visit this website, the hosting provider automatically collects information that your browser transmits (server log files): IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, time of the request. This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and error-free delivery of the website). Netlify processes data in the USA on the basis of EU standard contractual clauses.
Local storage
Your language preference (EN/DE) is stored locally in your browser (localStorage) so that the site can be displayed in your chosen language on your next visit. No personal data is stored and nothing is transmitted to us.
Request form
If you use the request form, the details you enter (name, email address, organisation, topic, message, language) are transmitted to our hosting provider Netlify (form handling) and forwarded to us. We use them solely to process your request and for follow-up questions (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). The data is deleted once your request has been dealt with, unless statutory retention periods apply.
Appointment booking
If you book a call via the booking link, you are taken to the scheduling service Cal.com (Cal.com, Inc., USA). The data you enter there is processed by Cal.com in accordance with its own privacy policy. We receive the appointment details you provide in order to hold the call (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR).
Contact by email
If you contact us by email, your details including the contact data you provide will be stored for the purpose of processing your request and for follow-up questions (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). We do not pass this data on without your consent.
Your rights
You have the right to information, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection at any time within the scope of the applicable legal provisions. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
